Sleeping in your wig
Can you sleep in your wig?  This is a common question I get asked by new wig wearers that is a valid question.  Whether you are wearing a wig by choice or for medical reasons, it's not for everyone else to know if you don't want them to know.  So the short answer is "Yes, you can sleep in your wig."
There may be times that you are with company and not ready to share you are wearing a wig yet.  Or if you have severe thinning and hair loss to have nothing on your head you feel too exposed. Now a short nap with your wig on is not going to hurt anything, but if you do happen to sleep in your wig on a regular basis, then you will reduce the lifespan of your wig.

Tips When Sleeping With Your Wig On

1. Have a second wig - I recommend having a similar style and use your older one to sleep in

2. Sleep On Silk Pillow Cases - This will reduce the friction on the hair fiber as well as tangling. Silk Pillow for Wigs

3. Headwear - Consider this option that provides coverage and is comfortable to sleep in.
